These terms govern your use of Doc247: the website at doc247.xyz, the Doc247 connector for AI assistants (mcp.doc247.xyz) and the documents you create with them (the “Service”). The Service is provided by FortyTwo Eleven Consulting AB, Midsommargränd 4, Stockholm, 12635, Sweden (“Doc247”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these terms. If you use the Service on behalf of a business, you agree on its behalf and confirm you have authority to do so.
1. The Service
Doc247 turns structured information into business documents (invoices, quotes, purchase orders, proforma invoices, credit notes and packing slips) and returns them as PDF files. You typically use it through an AI assistant such as ChatGPT or Claude, which calls Doc247 on your behalf. Doc247 is currently offered free of charge. We may introduce paid plans in the future; we will tell you in advance and you will never be charged without agreeing to it.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 16 years old and able to form a binding contract.
- Give accurate information, keep your password and sign-in links private, and tell us about any unauthorised use.
- You are responsible for activity in your account, including actions taken by AI assistants you have connected and authorised.
3. Your content and responsibilities
You keep all rights to the information you provide and the documents you create (“Your Content”). You grant us a limited licence to host, process, render and transmit Your Content solely to operate and improve the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy.
Check your documents before you send them. Doc247 calculates totals, taxes and numbering from the inputs it receives, but it does not know your tax obligations and AI assistants can misunderstand requests. You are solely responsible for the accuracy, completeness and legal compliance of every document you issue, including tax rates, invoice numbering rules, mandatory legal wording and record-keeping in your jurisdiction. Doc247 is not accounting, tax or legal advice.
You confirm that you have the right to include any personal data about third parties (such as customers or suppliers) in Your Content.
4. Acceptable use
You must not use the Service to:
- create false, misleading or fraudulent documents, or impersonate another person or business;
- break any law, including tax, consumer-protection, sanctions and data-protection laws;
- infringe anyone’s intellectual-property or privacy rights;
- send spam, malware or harmful content, or probe, overload, disrupt or circumvent the security or rate limits of the Service;
- access the Service by automated means other than through a supported AI assistant or MCP client acting on your behalf, or resell the Service without our written permission.
We may suspend or remove content or accounts that we reasonably believe violate these rules.
5. Third-party services
AI assistants such as ChatGPT (OpenAI) and Claude (Anthropic) are third-party services governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for how they interpret your requests, what they display, or their availability. Connecting or disconnecting an assistant is under your control.
6. Documents, links and storage
Documents are immutable once created; to correct one, create a new document, a credit note, or convert it. Download links shared in a conversation are valid for 7 days and work for anyone who has them, so share them with care. Stored PDF files are deleted after about 7 days and regenerated from your document data when you download them again. We keep document data until you delete your account.
7. Availability and changes
We work hard to keep Doc247 running, but the Service is provided on an “as available” basis and may be interrupted for maintenance, failures or reasons beyond our control. We may change, add or remove features. If we discontinue the Service we will give you reasonable notice and an opportunity to download your documents.
8. Our intellectual property
The Service, including its software, templates and branding, belongs to us and our licensors. These terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks. If you send us feedback, we may use it without obligation to you.
9. Ending your use
You can stop using the Service at any time and ask us to delete your account by emailing hello@doc247.xyz. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these terms or if required by law. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including 3, 10, 11, 12 and 13) will survive.
10. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have as a consumer that cannot be excluded by law.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for all claims relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and EUR 100. These limits do not apply to liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
12. Indemnity
If you use the Service for business purposes, you agree to indemnify us against third-party claims arising from Your Content or your breach of these terms, to the extent permitted by law.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Sweden, and the courts of Stockholm have jurisdiction, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence. This means that you can only bring a claim in Sweden.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will post the new version here and, for material changes, notify you by email or in the Service at least 14 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the updated terms.
